报告人简介:Curriculum Vitae of Russell K. Hynes, Ph.D
        Dr. Russ Hynes is a Research Scientist with Science and Technology Branch, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Saskatoon Research Centre and an adjunct professor in the Department of Food and Bioproduct Sciences, College of Agriculture and Bioresources, University of Saskatchewan. His research includes microbial screening, selection, formulation development and delivery of biopesticides with the objective of expanding biocontrol practices for managing agricultural pests in Canada. Born in Montréal, he received his BSc, MSc. and PhD in microbiology from McGill University. Before joining AAFC Russ was a Research Associate at the Plant Biotechnology Institute, National Research Council, Research fellow at Bristol University and a Senior Research Scientist with ESSO and Agrium Inc.
Russ Hynes is an Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Microbiology and serves on the Executive of the Canadian Society of Microbiologists.
